CHICAGO (WLS) -- A former Bartlett day care center owner convicted of shaking a baby to death has been released from prison on parole.

Pamela Jacobazzi was found guilty in 1999 and sentenced to 32 years in prison in the murder of a 10-month-old boy.

In recent years, lawyers for the Innocence Project have taken up her case.

They believe the baby died from pre-existing conditions.
