4 police officers hurt in South Chicago crash

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Four police officers were hurt in a crash in the city's South Chicago neighborhood.

A source said the officers were involved in a chase Monday night. Two squad cars got into a crash with the driver near South Colfax and S. South Chicago avenues around 10:45 p.m.

The officers were taken to Advocate Christ Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries. They are all expected to be OK.

Charges are pending against the 25-year-old driver.
