CHICAGO (WLS) -- The funeral for Jane Byrne, Chicago's first and only female mayor, is Monday.
Byrne, who died Friday at the age of 81, was a trailblazer whose legacy is visible in many Chicago landmarks and traditions.
They include the Taste of Chicago, Blues and Jazz Fests and the CTA's Orange Line.

She served as mayor from 1979-83.
Monday's funeral procession will briefly stop in front of City Hall and then outside Byrne's home on East Chestnut.
Byrne's visitation is Monday morning at 9 a.m., followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at Saint Vincent de Paul Parish on Webster Avenue.
