2 police officers, child, and another person hospitalized after Washington Park crash: CFD

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two Chicago police officers, a child, and another person were injured in a South Side crash on Sunday evening, the Chicago Fire Department said.

Both CFD and CPD responded to the scene near East 63rd Street and South Indiana Avenue in the city's Washington Park neighborhood.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash. Video from the scene captured one SUV with significant front-end damage.

The two officers, another adult, and a child were transported to local hospitals, CFD said. Their conditions were not immediately known.

What caused the crash was not immediately clear.

Officials did not immediately provide further information.
