CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago woman is pushing for change after a botched police raid that left her humiliated and afraid in her own home.
Anjanette Young sued the city and received a multimillion dollar settlement. Then-Mayor Lori Lightfoot offered an apology for her suffering.
Now, Young is launching a foundation, called I am Her.
She's using her story to empower other Chicago women who have been through trauma, injustice and adversity.

Young and Alderwoman Jeanette Taylor joined ABC7 Chicago Wednesday to talk about an event coming up on Friday.
The third annual I am Her youth conference is from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in North Kenwood.
