Woman, 2 teens hurt in drive-by shooting in Marquette Park, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three people, including two teens, were hurt in a drive-by shooting on the city's Southwest Side, Chicago police said.

The shooting happened Saturday at about 6:58 p.m. in the 7100-block of S. Campbell Avenue, police said.

Three people, a 37-year-old woman, a 15-year-old boy and a 17-year-old girl were outside when a light-colored sedan approached and someone started to shoot.

The 37-year-old was shot in the head, right hand and left wrist; she was taken to Christ Hospital in critical condition.

The 15-year-old was shot in the neck; he was taken to Comer Children's Hospital where he was listed in "good" condition.

The third victim, the 17-year-old, was shot in the right knee and was taken to University of Chicago Medical Center; also in "good" condition.

CPD said the car drove off southbound on Maplewood.

No other information was available.
