Boil order in effect for Zion due to water main repairs

ZION, Ill. (WLS) -- A boil order is in effect for Zion, Illinois due to emergency water main repairs, according to the city.

The order is in effect for businesses at 4570 IL Route 173 and 4580 IL Route 173.

City officials said the precautionary boil order will remain in effect until further notice.

Water used for cooking and drinking should be boiled for at least five minutes.
