Firefighters battling large house fire in Brookfield

BROOKFIELD, Ill. (WLS) -- Firefighters are battling a large house fire Wednesday in the west suburbs.

The fire response is in the 3200 block of Madison Avenue in Brookfield, village officials said.

Chopper 7 was over the scene, where flames were shooting through the roof of the home.

It was not yet known if any injuries were reported.
