ABC7 Accuweather Meteorologists said skies will remain smoky and hazy with highs in the upper 80s.

Air conditions in Wisconsin were worse than in Illinois Monday morning, and air quality in Illinois could deteriorate if the wildfire smoke moves south.

Storms are forecast to potentially roll into the Chicago area from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m., meteorologists say.

Most of the Chicago area Level 2 risk with Level 3 risk for Wisconsin.

The main threat would be damaging winds.
