Chicago area HS football stars to play in The Navy All-American Game

CHICAGO (WLS) -- It's the most wonderful time of the year for college football with so many bowl games this week.

And a few local high school players are getting ready for a big game of their own.

The Navy All-American Game features the top high school players from across the country. That includes several from the Chicago area.

Joining ABC7 Monday morning were five of the players: Nasir Rankin (Morgan Park HS, Sr., Wide Receiver, heading to Illinois); Lucas Tenbrock (St. Charles North, Sr., Punter, heading to Penn State), Micah Drescher (Hinsdale Central HS, Sr., Place Kicker, heading to Michigan), Noah Sur (Fenwick HS, Sr., Place Kicker, heading to Northwestern) and Trey Serauskis (Lincoln-Way East HS, Sr., Long Snapper, College Undecided).

Joe Trost with BuddysHELPERS.org also joined to talk about surprising Navy Legalman First Class Ulysses Evangelista with a new bike for his son.
