
AURORA, Ill. (WLS) -- Three people were killed in a wrong-way crash on Sunday in the west suburbs, Illinois State Police said.
ISP said two cars were involved in the crash on westbound I-88 at about 4 a.m. in Aurora.
The alleged wrong-way driver was heading eastbound in the westbound lanes when they crashed head on.

Three people died in the crash.
Their identities were not immediately released.
I-88 was temporarily shut down from Orchard Road to Route 47, ISP said.
All lanes reopened by 9:50 a.m., police said.
Police reported serious injuries, however, it was unclear how many people were injured.
