3 Chicago police officers hospitalized after crash in East Garfield Park, CFD says

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Three Chicago police officers were hospitalized after a crash Wednesday on the city's West Side.

The crash happened at South Kedzie Avenue and West Jackson Boulevard in East Garfield Park, Chicago Fire Department officials said.

One CPD squad car appeared to be involved in a crash with an SUV at the location.

Three CPD officers were taken to hospitals to be checked out after the crash, CFD officials said. The extent of their possible injuries were not yet known.

The cause of the crash was also not known.
