Pickup truck crashes into South Side cell phone store, 1 critically injured: Chicago fire officials

CHICAGO (WLS) -- One person is in critical condition after a truck crashed into a cell phone business on Chicago's South Side, Chicago fire officials said.

It happened Thursday morning at 47th Street and Hoyne Avenue in the Back of the Yards neighborhood.

Video from the scene shows a white pickup truck broke through the faade of a T-Mobile store.

A second heavily damaged vehicle could also be seen nearby.

It's not immediately clear what led up to the crash or who was injured.
