Burglars break into University Village smoke shop, take ATM, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police said burglars targeted a West Side smoke shop on Wednesday

The crime happened at about 3:52 a.m. in the 1300-block of W. Taylor Street, according to police.

A smoke shop had its front glass window broken, police said. A witness told CPD they saw multiple male suspects leave with an ATM.

The suspects allegedly fled in a white SUV.

Nobody is in custody.
