Large Chicago police response at State, Lake CTA Red Line station in the Loop

CHICAGO (WLS) -- There was a large police response right in front of ABC7 Chicago's State Street studio.

The situation happened just before 5 p.m. at the CTA Red Line train stop at State and Lake.

ABC7 witnessed police officers walking down into the subway.

A man could be seen being taken into custody and placed into an ambulance.

ABC7 has reached out to Chicago police. The CTA directed ABC7 to police for more information.
