2 critically hurt in Little Village shooting, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police are investigating a double shooting in Little Village on Tuesday night.

The shooting happened at about 10:29 p.m. in the 2500b-block of S. Keeler Avenue, police said.

A woman, 47, and a man, 23, were outside when a man got out of a black Jeep and started shooting.

The woman was shot in the back and the man was shot in the abdomen and wrist.

They were both taken to area hospitals in critical condition.

Nobody is in custody.
