Body found along canal in Little Village, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- An unidentified male body was discovered Friday on the city's Southwest Side.

The remains were discovered along a canal in the 3500 block of South Kedzie Avenue in Little Village, Chicago police said.

The person's age and identity were not yet known.

CPD is conducting a death investigation as they wait for the results of an autopsy.
