Chicago firefighter hurt while battling fire in Humboldt Park, officials say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A Chicago firefighter was hurt while battling a fire on the city's Northwest Side, CFD officials said.

The fire happened overnight into Sunday near Lawndale and Division in Humboldt Park, officials said.

CFD said the firefighter was hit with debris and was taken to the hospital. He was expected to be okay.

Another person was also taken to the hospital but was not seriously hurt.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
