

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Two people fled the scene of a South Side crash that left a man hospitalized on Monday afternoon, Chicago police said.
Police said the crash happened near West 50th Street and South Racine Avenue in the city's Back of the Yards neighborhood just after 4:30 p.m. Chopper 7 was over the scene around 5 p.m.
A Mazda sedan was traveling westbound on 50th Street when its driver blew through a stop sign and hit a Chevy sedan, which was heading southbound on Racine Avenue, before striking a building.
Police said two males of unknown ages then got out of the Mazda and ran away from the scene in an unknown direction.
The Chevy's driver, a 41-year-old man, was transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition.
No other injuries were reported. Police did not immediately provide further information about the crash.
