1 charged in shooting on DLSD in Streeterville last June, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago police arrested a suspect in an arrest in an apparent road rage shooting on DuSable Lake Shore Drive last June.

Investigators say 41-year-old Donald Stoute shot the victim, seriously injuring him.

The shooting occurred on June 3 in Streeterville.

The victim, Maalik Gardner, said it all started with an argument as the two were driving.

Gardner managed to drive himself to get help.

Stoute has been charged with Aggravated Battery/Discharge Firearm. He is due in court Friday for a bond hearing.
