Man shot, killed on Near West Side, Chicago police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was shot to death on Sunday night in Chicago's Near West Side, according to police.

The shooting happened at about 11:05 p.m. in the 100-block of N. Western Avenue, police said.

Police found a 21-year-old man with a gunshot wound to the head. He died at the scene.

A witness told police that two suspects got out of a black sedan and shot the 21-year-old.

Nobody is in custody.

CPD is investigating.
