All EB lanes of I-290 reopen after rollover crash on West Side: ISP

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A rollover crash involving a box truck shut down all eastbound lanes of I-290 on Sunday morning, Illinois State Police said.

The crash happened at about 5:21 a.m. at Cicero Avenue, police said.

Police said the crash involved a box truck and a passenger car.

In video obtained by ABC7, a vehicle was seen upside down with extensive damage off the expressway.

At least one passenger was taken to an area hospital. Their condition was not released.

By 7:12 a.m. all lanes reopened.
