Video from Chopper 7 around 4:30 p.m. showed that dramatic rescue near the break wall in the area of Monroe Harbor.

Chicago police say woman of unknown age was in an area, near where the CPD Marine Unit is stationed, and ended up in the water for an unknown reason. Two CPD Marine Unit officers got her out of the lake.

Note: Chicago police initially reported the woman jumped into the water, but later reported she had fallen into the water.

Chopper 7 was over the scene as one of the officers was in the water with the woman. At one point a life ring could be seen being tossed to them.

CPD says two officers and that woman were taken to hospitals. The woman was being evaluated at Northwestern Hospital in good condition. She appeared responsive as they got her out of the water.

No further information was available.
