Chicago's Brain Builders Academy spotlights STEAM learning

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Chicago's innovative Brain Builders Academy is making waves with its immersive STEAM-based early education program for kids ages 3 to 9. The West Loop school offers small class sizes, individualized instruction and hands-on learning labs designed like a children's museum.

Founder Jessica Strauss, along with parent Chanda Kero, joined ABC7 Eyewitness News to discuss how the school's unique approach, including dramatic play and music integration, is redefining early childhood education and helping students excel, many testing in the top 1% nationally.

Brain Builders Academy guarantees that children enrolling at ages 3 to 3.5 years will be at least one grade level ahead by kindergarten or parents receive a $10,000 refund.
