
CHICAGO (WLS) -- One person died after a northbound CTA Brown Line train hit them at the Addison station Tuesday morning, officials said.
Brown Line service is running but not stopping at Addison after the incident.
Trains were suspended between Belmont and Kimball on the North and Northwest sides for a couple of hours.
Chicago fire officials said one person was taken to a nearby hospital in critical condition and another in good condition after the incident.
The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office later said it is conducting a death investigation.
No additional information has been provided about the person who died.

Shuttle buses are available from Irving Park to Paulina, the CTA said.
Alternate routes may include the No. 8 Halsted bus or the No. 81 West Lawrence bus.
