OB lanes of I-290 reopen after shots fired on West Side, Illinois State Police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A shooting investigation temporarily closed lanes on the Eisenhower Expressway on the West Side Tuesday morning, Illinois State Police said.

The shooting took place at about 1:17 a.m. in the outbound lanes near Homan Avenue.

No injuries were reported, police said. The outbound lanes were closed until about 4:45 a.m.
