Serious crash impacts traffic in Geneva, Illinois for hours

GENEVA, Ill. (WLS) -- A serious crash impacted west suburban traffic overnight.

The crash happened on Randall Road in Geneva around 9:15 p.m. Saturday.

Video shows at least two severely damaged vehicles and first responders on the scene near Fargo Boulevard.

Investigators shut down Randall between Fargo and Kelsinger for several hours. The roadway has since reopened.

What caused the crash was not immediately clear.

Authorities did not immediately provide information on injuries.
