
HANOVER PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- A pickup truck crashed into two businesses Saturday evening in northwest suburban Hanover Park.
The crash happened in the 2100 West Irving Park Road, officials said.
The battalion fire chief said one person was taken to a hospital with minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
An ice cream shop and jewelry store that were hit by the truck were open at the time.
Both businesses had significant damage.

Crews were securing the building, which will be boarded up, fire officials said. The businesses will be closed for the time being.
