HARVEY, Ill. (WLS) -- An investigation into alleged sexual misconduct at a Harvey hospital by an employee involves two women who were patients.
Harvey police say there could be more women who had this experience.
As patients seek emergency and outpatient care at UChicago Medicine's Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, Harvey police are investigating an employee there.
Harvey police said they have reports from two patients who went to the hospital for emergency care.
Investigators say in June of 2024 a woman who was a patient at Ingalls reported unwanted sexual physical contact by a hospital employee.
And a second, similar report in July 2024 involved a man with the same description.

No one has been charged.
However, Harvey police want to question a man who identified himself as a physician assistant and is described as being bald, with facial hair, in his 30s to 40s.
It's unclear if the man is still an employee.
Ingalls has also launched an internal investigation.
A statement from UChicago Medicine's Ingalls Memorial said, "Ingalls Memorial is aware of the ongoing investigation by the Harvey Police Department. Due to the active nature of the investigation, we are unable to provide comment at this time and will continue to cooperate with Harvey police."
During this investigation, information has surfaced that others may know about the incidents already reported, and still others may have had similar encounters.
Harvey police urge anyone with information to come forward.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Harvey Tip Line. The hotline number is 708-713-4899.
