Illinois State Police sergeant charged with sexual assault requests release from jail
The alleged victim, who worked as a bartender, reported waking up in a parking lot, unable to recall what had happened.

TINLEY PARK, Ill. (WLS) -- An Illinois State Police sergeant who is charged with sexual assault wants to be released from jail.
In court on Tuesday, Douglas Lee filed a motion for relief.

He says he is no threat to the public, that he is married with three children and has served with ISP for 21 years.
Lee is accused of sexually assaulting a woman last August. Tinley Park police arrested him after a nearly yearlong investigation.
The woman says she does not recall the attack but woke up half clothed in her car.
Investigators linked Lee to her through DNA evidence. He's due back in court later this month.
