Chicago police, SWAT respond to disturbance in Irving Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A SWAT team responded to a disturbance on Chicago's Northwest Side on Sunday morning.

Video from the scene in the city's Irving Park neighborhood captured SWAT team members, along with Chicago police officers and squad cars near West Addison Street and North Karlov Avenue.

Police said an armed 51-year-old man was making threats toward others. The man was taken into custody and transported to Swedish Covenant Hospital for evaluation.
