Woman disarms man during argument, dies from self-inflicted gunshot wound in Jefferson Park: CPD
CPD is investigating the woman's death as a homicide.
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A woman died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound after arguing with someone and taking their gun on the city's Northwest Side early Saturday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the shooting happened in the Jefferson Park neighborhood's 5000-block of West Sunnyside Avenue around 3:30 a.m.

A 47-year-old woman was arguing with an armed male, whose age was not immediately known, police said.
Police said the woman disarmed the male and shot herself in the head. She was taken in critical condition to Lutheran General Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
CPD listed the woman's death as a homicide.
Area Five detectives are investigating. Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
