Man pleads guilty to dragging, trying to kill Chicago police officer, court documents show
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man has been convicted for dragging and trying to kill a Chicago police officer in Englewood in 2021.

Jermaine Little pinned a police officer by powering up his car window and backing away from a traffic stop in Englewood near 63rd and State in August 2021.
As police conducted a massive manhunt, Little contacted ABC7's I-Team.
"I didn't do nothin' wrong. This is a traffic stop. I had a driver's license. I had a valid driver's license and I had a valid insurance," Little told the I-Team at the time. "The officers didn't respect my driver's license. Nor my insurance. The officers tried to shoot me in the face. That's what made me pull off."

Nearly four years after the incident, Little pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count of attempted murder.
He also pleaded guilty on a separate weapons case, one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon with previous conviction.
He was sentenced to a total of 15 years at IDOC. He'll receive credit for the 1,534 days he already served.
