Coroner asking for help identifying body found in water in Lake County

LAKE COUNTY, Ill. (WLS) -- The Lake County Coroner's Office is asking for help with identifying a man found dead in the water at Fort Sheridan Forest Preserve near Highland Park.

The man was pulled from shallow water and an autopsy shows the death is consistent with drowning.

He was wearing an adidas hat, blue shorts, Nike shoes, a silver ring, and a Tahari watch.

He's described as a white male, late 50s to early 70s, standing at five-foot-three, with gray hair and balding on top.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Lake County Coroner's Office at 847-377-2200.
