CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man injured in a South Side shooting on Friday night was involved in a crash on his way to the hospital, Chicago police said.

Someone drove the victim to a hospital in a white sedan, police said. Before arriving at the hospital, however, they crashed into a dark-colored sedan near West 95th and South Loomis streets.

The man shot was listed in fair condition.

The dark-colored sedan's driver, a 40-year-old man, was transported to Little Company of Mary Hospital for pain in his left arm and is listed in fair condition.

The man driving the white sedan was not injured.

Authorities did not immediately provide further information.
