"Due to wire problems and a power outage at Millennium Station, Metra Electric inbound and outbound trains will originate and terminate at Van Buren St. Station until further notice. Outbound trains will not depart from Millennium Station," Metra announced in a statement.

The South Shore Line was also affected by the changes, Metra told ABC7.

In an update after 9 p.m., Metra said the disruption was resolved and trains were running as normal again with delays.
