MIDLOTHIAN, Ill. (WLS) -- A south suburban gaming cafe was recently broken into for the fourth time, and the alleged thieves were caught on video.
It all unfolded within seconds before police got on the scene.
Seconds after shattering and then climbing through a glass front door, the destruction continued with sledgehammers swinging and smashing gaming consoles, video shows.
"I don't know the amount that they took, but they did get a box from the machine," said Tom Pekic, with Anna's Gaming Cafe. "It can't be tolerated anymore. It's too much."
Remnants of the damage are still present at the cafe at 147th Street and Kilbourn Avenue in Midlothian.

Business operator Pekic said this isn't the first time it's happened.
"They went in in October. Then, they came back again in January on a Sunday, didn't succeed, came back on the very next Tuesday, broke in, smashed all the windows again. And now this is the fourth time," Pekic said.
The video shows police lights outside as officers arrived, scaring the group out of the business, before, investigators say, they sped off in a vehicle but didn't get far.
"They crashed the vehicle about a block away. They scattered, and then they were caught. Three out of the six were caught," Pekic said. "There's no amount of money in those machines that's worth risking the rest of your future."
Police did confirm three people from the group were caught, and charges are pending.
Pekic says the business will remain open while it undergoes repairs.
