Missing 15-year-old has been found, Merrillville police say

MERILLVILLE, Ind. (WLS) -- A Silver Alert has been cancelled for a 15-year-old girl. Merrillville police said she was found Wednesday.

The 15-year-old was last seen in Crown Point on Tuesday at about 9:30 p.m.

By 8:20 a.m. Wednesday, police said she was found.

Police said she was believed to be in extreme danger .

No other information was available.
