'MJ the Musical' returns to downtown Chicago to launch first national tour

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Michael Jackson's is blasting at the Nederlander Theatre once again.

"MJ the Musical" is back in Chicago to launch the first national tour.

"MJ" primarily looks at Jackson, when he was creating the "Dangerous Tour" in the early 1990s.

Brandon Lee Harris is from Chicago. He plays Jackson.

Devin Bowles plays Joe Jackson.

They joined ABC7 Chicago on Saturday morning to talk about it.

The show opens at the Nederlander Aug. 12 and runs through Aug. 24.

Tickets start at $48, and it's recommended for ages 8 and over.
