'Grillers Anonymous Chicagoland' Facebook group fires up grills year-round

CHICAGO (WLS) -- July is National Grilling Month!

There's a group in Chicago that's been firing up their grills year-round since 2009.

Sean Mulcahey and Eric Koncir are members of the Facebook group "Grillers Anonymous Chicagoland," and they joined ABC7 on Friday to talk more about it.

The group brings together people from all walks of life. They have been grilling for 16 years straight, rain, shine or snow.

Mulcahey and Koncir explained how members can stay connected or get involved between the monthly meetups, and they spoke about their "Griller of the Year" award.
