Truck involved in 3-vehicle crash in Oswego, 1 seriously injured, sheriff says

OSWEGO, Ill. (WLS) -- There was an emergency response for a serious crash involving a truck Thursday in the west suburbs.

At least one person was seriously injured, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said.

The crash happened near Plainfield Road and Schlapp Road in Oswego and involved three vehicles, the sheriff said.

Chopper 7 was over the scene as first responders remained at the crash scene.

A passenger vehicle could be seen with heavy damage. A large truck was also at the scene.

One person was taken to a hospital for serious injuries, but they did not appear to be life-threatening, the sheriff said.

Nearby roads were closed during the crash investigation but have since reopened, the Kendall County Sheriff's Office said.
