Man found shot to death in Roseland, police say

CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man was found shot to death on the city's South Side on Friday night, Chicago police said.

Officers found the 30-year-old unresponsive in the Roseland neighborhood's 0-100 block of West 112th Place around 11 p.m.

The man, shot in the abdomen and head, was pronounced dead on the scene, police said.

Area Two detectives are investigating.

Police did not immediately provide further information.
