A semi hit the Norfolk Southern Bridge, dislodging its intermodal trailer, ISP said.

The trailer then hit a garbage truck, which was in the center lane.

The trailer and the garbage truck stopped against the left concrete median barrier. Chopper 7 was over the scene.

ISP said one driver was taken to a local hospital with injuries, and the other driver refused medical treatment at the scene.

As authorities responded to the scene, traffic was getting by slowly through one lane.

All lanes reopened at 6:35 p.m.

Further information was not immediately available.
