Soulful Chicago Book Fair returns to South Side showcasing Black literature

CHICAGO (WLS) -- The Soulful Chicago Book Fair returns Friday to the city's South Side.

It's one of the nation's largest celebrations of Black literature.

Special guests at the event will include children's book author Angela Priso and actor Charles Malik Whitfield.

The Soulful Chicago Book Fair runs from 10 a.m. through 8 p.m. Friday.

It's on 61st Street between Cottage Grove and King Drive.
