
CHICAGO (WLS) -- A man is dead, and two others are injured after a four-vehicle crash on the city's Southwest Side on Saturday morning, Chicago police said.
Police said the crash happened in the West Lawn neighborhood's 3800-block of West Marquette Road just before 7:30 a.m.
A dark-colored Infinity containing three people was heading westbound when it hit a dark-colored Kia sedan, which was traveling in the same direction, police said. The Infinity then struck three parked vehicles.
A man of an unknown age was taken to Christ Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
A 26-year-old man was transported to the same hospital. His condition and injuries were not immediately known.
Another 26-year-old man, who also suffered unknown injuries, was transported in good condition to the University of Chicago Medical Center.
The Kia's driver, a 32-year-old man, declined medical attention on the scene.
CPD's Major Accidents Unit is investigating.
Police did not immediately provide further information about the crash.
