Robots inspiring STEM education in schools

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) education plays a critical role in the development of young students. Not only can it help students into adulthood, but it can also lead to innovations that can shape our world. Students in Chicago are using robots to learn STEM subjects.

George Thiruvathukal, IEEE Member and Professor of Computer Science at Loyola University Chicago, joined ABC 7 with one of his students' robots to talk about the importance of STEM education.
