Shamrock Shuffle street closures in place near Grant Park

CHICAGO (WLS) -- This weekend's Shamrock Shuffle is already having an impact on traffic in the area around the Loop.

Street closures for Sunday's event will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday for streets around the Grant Park area, including Columbus Drive from Roosevelt to Randolph.

On Sunday, the following streets will be closed from 8-11:15 a.m.:

• Columbus from Roosevelt to Grand
• Grand from Columbus to State
• State from Grand to Jackson
• Jackson from State to LaSalle
• LaSalle from Jackson to Randolph
• Randolph from LaSalle to Franklin
• Franklin from Randolph to Harrison
• Harrison from Franklin to Michigan
• South Michigan from Harrison to Roosevelt
• Roosevelt (westbound) from Michigan to Columbus

The race will kick off Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

Parking restrictions along the route will also be in effect starting at 6 a.m. Sunday.
