CHICAGO (WLS) -- A memorial service was held Saturday for a Chicago woman whose beaten body was found stuffed in a suitcase last month on the Indonesian resort island of Bali.
Family and friends attended the memorial service of Sheila von Wiese-Mack at St. Chrysostom's Episcopal Church in Chicago.
Saturday her pastor said his congregation is grieving her loss.
"They're wanting to honor her with their prayers, their food, their thoughts, their telling the stories of being with her, worshipping with her, having friendships with her," said Rev. Wes Smedley.
Von-Wiese Mack's daughter, 19-year-old Heather Mack, and the teen's boyfriend, Tommy Schaeffer, are the prime suspects in the murder.
They have been under arrest in Bali, though not formally charged.
