Man shot at Fernwood Park basketball court

CHICAGO (WLS) -- Police are looking for the person who shot a man on a Far South Side basketball court just before 4:30 Sunday afternoon at Fernwood Park on South Union.

Police say a person walked up and opened fire, hitting a 21-year-old man in the stomach, then ran off.

The victim was taken to Christ Medical Center in critical condition.

No one is in custody.
