Dolton police involved in fatal shooting after car chase

DOLTON, Ill. (WLS) -- A traffic chase led to a police shooting in south suburban Dolton Saturday night.

Eyewitnesses say that after the chase, two men jumped out of the car and started shooting at officers. Police returned fire and fatally shot one of the suspects.

Dolton police have not yet said why they were pursuing the car.
